yay!!!! im so excited the share with a little secret ive been keeping,,, i made it onto the *scrap yourself* design team!!! so rad, right?? if you know anything about lil ol me,,, im a big fan of scrapping myself,,, thats not bad, is it?? i mean, my kids do get a ton of attention on the layouts,, although i have to admit, my poor hubby has noticed his face hasnt made it to many layouts as of late. i promise to work on that,,, i think i just take most of my pictures when hes working,, he does work six days a week afterall,,, anyway,,, im sooooo excited and have already gotten started on scrapping myself!!! so here is the layout i created to apply for the design team position, i used mostly *glitter in the air*, but there is a bit of marchs addiction in there as well as embellishments ive been hoarding from previous kits. here is *ally*cakes*,,, by the way, *ally*cakes* is a name that D {who creates our amazing blog designs} gave me. and it totally stuck,, i guess you can tell, i loved it,,, thought it was oh so fun, and perfect!!!

my adorable armenian princess friend ~ deb ~ aka sparkling scrapbooks, aka design team head honcho for the paris hilton creativity collection ask me to join her on the design team. yeah. im sooooo honored, stoked, thrilled,,, amazed to be a part of this. for starters, have you seen her work?? shes wicked talented,,, thank you miss deb.

alright, seriously, i love the fact that this line is geared towards teens. i am always open to express the fact that im sad that i didnt start scrapping at a younger age,,, for several reasons,,, {ear muffs mom} ~ it woulda been a lot less troublesome that what i was doing,,, ;-) and think of all the memories i would had by now,,, ive always been a camera heavy chick,,, love taking pictures, playing around, whatever,,, so scrapbooking would have been perfect!! and considering the same,,, teens these days scare me {totally, totally generally speaking, of course}, but also considering i have a sweet, precious little chicky of my own that im trying to create and mold into what i would want, a *good person*, i think something like this would be awesome for her, in her teen years,,, i think the message is positive and perfect. and i wanna help. oh ~ yeah, and hello ~ bling,,, loves!!!!

sooooooooooooo,,,, {im really excited ~ i wish you could hear me scream},,,,, you know how i have been busting out these layouts inspired by the 52 sketches 52 weeks blog?? weeeeelllll,,, i am more than honored to announce that i {yes ~ *i*} am now an official member of their design team!!!! im so excited!! this is a really large community and i cant describe how excited i am to be a part of it. sorry to you {my faithfuls that read my blog} that i have kept you in the dark about my submissions,,, i get kinda shy and im afraid that i wont make it, so therefore i dont share news ~ until it turns into good news!!!!! eeeekkkkk!!!!! im so happy!!! this is a great time in my life,,, i really wanted to participate in a design team ~ i had no clue that by this time i would be on each of the design teams that i am!!!! i love each and every one of the blogs that have taken me on and trusted me to help them create, each group is unique and allows me to constantly change my scrapping style and keep it interesting!!! {thanks julie},,, im really excited!!!! oh ~ not to mention this will totally allow me to keep on track for my 365 layouts ~ yes?!?!? alright, fine, i have to admit,,, i might have tried out for one other design team,,, they havent announced their members,,, i {honestly, honestly} hope i make that one as well,,, and then ill be good to gooooo!!! sooo, i went through some more of the sketches on the 52 sketches 52 weeks blog and was inspired by sketch number 3. here is the sketch,,, followed by my take *about a boy*,,,i love scrapbooking so much!!! i really, really do!!!! and with that said ~ the latest sketch is up and i totally think that you need to play along!!! sketch blog are so rad!!! promise!! thanks for your continued support ~ especially during rad times like this!!!!

alright, alright, so i know that i usually only post once a day {8:00am to be exact} buttttt,,,,,, i cant wait,, not another minute and not until tomorrow 8:00 am. yeah, im beside myself. as many of you loyal blog readers know, sassafrass lass is my very favorite product line. this year and last years cha favorite. anyway, i sent a layout their way and, well, check it,,, they took their time and posted it ON THEIR BLOG!!!!! i am soooo not an *OMG*er person,, but OMG!!!! im dying!!! thank you so much to the ladies at sassafrass,,,, this made my day, week and probably even my year!!!!!! xoxoxxoxoxxoxoxooxxoxoxo here is the layout,,,, and then a little somethin' somethin' about my card class that im teaching at pink sunday 8th of march at 2:00. eeekkkkkk!!!!!!!and since i mentioned that sassafrass lass was my cha favorite {two years in a row} i thought i might as well share my happy smiles from just standing in their booth!!!

because im still new at this whole teaching thing, i still get really excited when i see my name on a blog other than my own. pink pineapple scrapbooks had some sweet things to say about me and my upcoming classes so i thought i would share....
so my card class is tomorrow night at the lovely pink pineapple ~ (760)598-2222. the class is $27.00 and from 6:00 - 9:00. i used one ~ actually two different jenni bowlin paper lines to create these babies. and YES ~ those cards are resting on my beautiful red washing machine!!!
for family again at the lovely pink pineapple scrapbooks in vista ~ (760)598-2222. the class is $37.00 this thursday from 6:00 - 9:00. i love this adorable acrylic mini album. in this class, you will be using two different hambly rub on sheets and you will have left overs to go home and play with.

lucky girly at the amazing its about time scrapbooks in murrieta ~ (951)304-3422. this class is $50.00 this sunday from 12:00 to 3:00. this little girly album is just too cute to pass up!! the possibilities are endless!!

alright, thats it for now. i will post some pictures from this weekend charity event that i participated in ~ thanks to the help of "dude" (thats what my kids call my mom) what a cute name for grandma uh??

oh my word!!! i want to cry right now!!! i am the luckiest girly ever to have become friends with the ladies at its about time scrapbooks. never in my wildest dreams would i ever think that what i love to do, would be something that others appreciate, especially to the extent that these ladies have shown me. i am so blessed to be a part of their team and circle of friends. i am beside myself, honored and speachless!!! and i love that mel nailed it ~ to a "T", she knows me so well!! thank you ladies for your kind word, open heart and encouragement. i will be working my hardest to continue to make you ladies proud.... wow ~ WOW!!!...... thank you so much for saying this..... I LOVE THESE GIRLS!! and i didnt want to admit it, but i guess there is no denying ~ i do love elise ~ and maybe i do stalk her blog......
