its been a while since i have taken pictures from a class of mine. i missed it,,,, and to be completely honest, i was planning on doing it this past sunday when i taught at pink pineapple,, but wendy beat me to the punch. she busted our her camera and i am so the *hey take one with my camera too* chick. *sorry*. anyway, here is wendy and i {she takes all my card classes ~ and i sooooo appreciate her for that} *thanks wendy*. below, nely and i, but we have all seen her all over my blog!!! shes the cutest!!! *we missed you denise and chelsea*!!!! :-D

vegas was a ton of fun. we were in great company and didnt party too hard to make the boys {*our* boys} cry,,, bree is one of our best friends girlyfriend and i adore her like crazy. she is so rad and we have a ton of fun together!! this chick actually might take more pictures than i do. thats saying like A LOT!!! not to mention,, shes all about taking picture of herself too,,, we did it the whole time!!! she has a rad picture of me, taking a picture of myself {i know, i know far fetched} and then ricardo right next to me on his cell phone. so typical. if we werent married already that would so be our engagement photo. its perfect. we saw two shows. zumanity and mystere. both ~ amazing for totally different reasons. zumanity was a trip ~ we were very front and center ~ therefore were required to participate in a few different parts of the show. funny,, and totally embarrassing,,, matt got pulled up on stage,, better him than me,,, anyway, great trip, could have used just one more day to live the life,,, but coming home to my children was even better!!!!i do adore vegas!!! and i aodre *you* too of course,,,,

moments like yesterday make me happy knowing that really, there arent tooooo many people that read my blog. i wish american crafts *thickers* came with an automatic spell check!!! i have to admit, spelling is a weakness of mine,,, but i can say in all honesty, i *can* spell *GUILTY* without spell check. promise. sorry about that,, and thanks ladies for pointing that out to me!!! i was having a dyslexic moment,,, {p.s. ~ this story just got soooooo rad,,,,,} alright, so it turns out i really *cant* spell guilty,, but i cant erase what i already wrote because then this wouldnt be funny}. i fixed my title, took a picture. looks great!!! did my post,,, hit spell check,,, guess what i *CANT* spell!!!!! yep,, i {ahem} fixed it?!?!?! nope ~ ill fix my layout tomorrow {again} {remember im at the office right now} and re~take the picture and hopefully get this stupid word out of my way!!! poor daniel and sofia, i wont be able to help them with their spelling homework once they reach first grade!!! ahhh,,, i love calling myself out ~ and i love when *you* do toooooo!!!! funny, funny,,,,, yeah, got the letter fixed in a different, not correct way!!!!,,,,

i wanted to play along with the effers dares challenge 129 ~ what are you guilty of. you know, since i couldnt really think of *anything* to be guilty of,,, i went with the whole, camera hog ~ cant stop taking pictures of myself route. you know, because thats just about as far as my guilt goes,,,, {ahem, ahem},,,, anyway,, here is my little 8 1/2 X 11 layout,,,,,going to vegas kicked my butt. i am {as of tomorrow} exactly where i should be for my 365 layouts, where as a week ago i was projecting ahead of the game. oh no!!! not to mention, im feeling a little sick {again} or {still} however you wanna look at it. i want to post pictures from vegas, but my laptop is sick {again} or {still} ~ again ~ however you wanna look at it. i sneak over to my hubbys office to use the computer whenever i get a chance,,, but i dying without my laptop,,,, :-(. other than that,,, im gonna start my updates at 5:00 am as apposed to 8:00 am,, {in case you care},,, i know that there were a *few* of you {mom included} that wanted earlier posts to start their day. *cute*. so there you go,,,, 5:00 am it is. ask and you shall receive!!!! remember my card class tomorrow!!!! oh,, sorry for the randomness of this post,,,, :-)

its been a while since i have expressed my love for pink pineapple. been a little wrapped up in this new adventure of being a part of a design team. *thank you* but my love for pink pineapple continues to grow and grow,,, in fact, i have a class coming up there this sunday. my monthly card class actually. you know, this one,,,, the class is {as i said ~ sunday} the 8th at 2:00. there are still spots!!! call and sign up 760*598*2222. speaking of classes, my layout class is in a few weeks which you might wanna get yer name on the listy list also. class is sunday the 22nd at 2:00 {pink pineapple} of course!!! and since i hadnt posted this picture and im loveing on pink at the moment,, this is from their very first theme crop. a pj party. here i am hanging in our little girly group. so much fun!!! cant wait for the next!!!! already on the list baby!!!!

hi. hey, remember when i said i was gonna do 365 layouts this year?? have you been playing along?? i wanted to point out the counter i have in my side margin------> to the right. its a running total so you can follow along. jennifer gave me the idea :-D thanks jennifer!!! here is a recent fav. i busted out the sewing machine and stitched those ribbons onto the layout. i love the look and yes, im not scared to,,,
a} put a picture of my son on a pink layout {mainly because of his board shorts} and mainly because he is manly enough to rock pink!! ;-D
b} put flowers on the page as well

even though i havent mentioned it in a while,,, i still work on my scrapbook journal. often. my recipe is simple, which makes putting a layout together fun and painless.

sticking to the recipe makes it kinda all *go* together with out *really going* together. i love it. here are a few *older* layouts, but i havent shared them yet,,, soooooo,,,,
hambly has a certain charm to it. no matter the color or the theme, it all blends together beautifully.

first challenge is up and waiting!!! check it. this one was a breeze,,, i was painters tape on anything and everything. i actually probably coulda used a layout i already had,, but i thought id just go ahead and create a new one. :-D

i switched it up from the way it was. just a bit. oddly enough, although i happen to love my handwriting,, i hate it on layouts. weird, but true. play along. :-D show us what cha got!!!
